Kern County is a land of year-round magic. Valleys, mountains, streams and lakes are all within short drives of each other, and camping facilities are located throughout the county to help you enjoy the great outdoors.
Campsites are plentiful along all forks of the Kern River and around Lake Isabella, as well as in the mountains of the Los Padres National Forest in southern Kern. You may also opt for a valley campsite along the shores of Buena Vista Lake or a desert campground in Red Rock Canyon. Whatever your pleasure may be, Kern has it.
