Stockdale Country Club
Founded in 1925, Stockdale Country Club is a part of Bakersfield history. The tennis and fitness facility is surrounded by beautiful scenery. The facility boasts seven lighted hard courts with canopies and misting systems, two grass courts (the only club grass courts in the San Joaquin Valley), a computer-controlled hitting alley, and a pro shop. Under the direction of club pro Hank Pfister, a past ATP Tour champion and a USPTA P1-rated teaching pro, the adult program includes both men's and women's day and night leagues; special events and outings; and private, semi-private and group lessons.
